Summer totally snuck on me. I know some of our friends that live north of that Mason Dixon line are thinking, “Summer? I haven’t even seen spring yet.” I hear you, but here in Texas summer can start as early as April so you better start prepping your outdoor spaces as soon as possible. We just moved into our home last year so this is our first crack at updating the back patio. Over the winter we painted the pergola, exterior of the house and fortified the pergola posts, but as you can see our furniture definitely needed a refresh:
I knew I wanted lounge furniture to create that second living room feel and thanks to Safavieh, we were able to create the perfect spot to host family and friends…
Every time I look out our back windows and see this space it kind of takes my breath away. I love the deep lounge seating of the Emiko Living Set, the substantial quality of the wood and one of Safavieh’s outdoor, Courtyard rugs pulls it all together perfectly.
I also adore this Kendri Planter we chose to hold our newest Fiddle Leaf. Safavieh has a ton of outdoor furniture and decor, I actually had no idea they offer so many options, and I’m really glad we chose their pieces to finish out this very special spot in our home.
We’ve already had a couple gatherings and my heart was so happy because all of our friends were comfortable and able to enjoy the patio for hours thanks to our cozy furniture. In fact, I have a hard time not being out here…even when I’m writing a blog post;)
