Hi friends! I’m so glad that you’re here and incredibly excited to finally reveal our completed study and breakfast nook. These were the two main spaces in our new home that we didn’t have furniture for when we moved in and I knew Bassett Furniture was the only way to go. We needed pieces that were classic, beautiful and would stand the test of time. Over the years we’ve learned (sometimes the hard way) that we trust Bassett the most when it comes to these qualities in furniture.
Let’s take a look at the study first, shall we??
This room is multifunctional because it serves as my husband’s office, a den and sometimes a guest bedroom. We considered a Murphy bed, but ultimately settled on this dreamy Ellery Queen Sleeper in Tan leather by Bassett. Isn’t it stunning?! I had a vision of a cozy, warm leather sofa to give my husband’s office a masculine vibe, but I also wanted a space for watching TV (that’s opposite this wall) and of course, something that would make for comfortable sleeping for our guests. This Ellery Sleeper delivers on all of that.
I love Bassett’s furniture because it’s completely customizable. The leather we chose is soft to the touch, a protected fabric for easier cleaning and one of Bassett’s new colors – there were so many stunning options, but I think chose the right one.
The whole family has already fallen in love with this sofa and chances are, if I can’t find one of the kids they’re in here lounging and chatting their Dad’s ear off;)
I’m also really impressed with the sleeper mattress. It’s plush, stable and feels like a regular bed which was very important to us as these are only guest quarters. This Ellery will make for a very cozy spot in the evenings for our friends and family!
And now for another family favorite – the new BenchMade Rowan Oak Table in our breakfast nook!
It’s truly a work of art – I love the statement that it makes and I think the details on the pedestal are my favorite.
We coupled the table with the Holden Oak Side Chairs. When you sit in these chairs you can tell how Bassett’s BenchMade craftsmanship is truly a step above. The bottom of the tabletop is even signed by the craftsman – I love that! All of Bassett’s custom furniture is made in the USA and that makes it all the more special to our family. It’s definitely a piece I’ll pass down to our kids.
And speaking of kids, they love these pieces. They’re always at the table snacking, reading or playing on their tablets and branded it ‘cozy’ as soon as they saw it. I love being able to chat with them while I’m making breakfast or dinner and I know a lot of memories will be made here.
So what do you think?? I feel genuinely honored to have these Bassett pieces in our home. Are you in the market for some family furniture in your home? Ask me questions you have about our Bassett Furniture experience!
