Can you believe we’re here? It’s already the holiday season and thanks to 2020 the comfort of home, especially during the holidays, is more important than ever. I’ve teamed up with Walmart to show you our festive Christmas breakfast tablescape and I’m so excited to share their beautiful decor and dinnerware with y’all!
Even if you think you’re done decorating (I certainly did!) Walmart has the perfect home and decor pieces to help you create a cozy, homemade holiday. We’ve all spent a lot of time at home this year, but more than make us tired of our houses I think it’s made us appreciate them even more and want to create spaces that we love. Walmart always helps me do that and during Christmas is no exception.
Since the holidays are a little different this year I wanted to turn things around and start a new tradition – a festive Christmas breakfast! Normally, we just sneak in a quick slice of Kringle or cinnamon bread after we open presents and before the real cooking begins, but now that the kids are a bit older I’d like to change that.
With Walmart’s help I created a festive, winter scene where we’ll be able to enjoy a homemade Christmas casserole, hot coffee and fresh fruit around the table while we chat about what Christmas means to us…and how excited we are about our new gifts of course;)
One of the first things that caught my were these beautiful velour pillows. They’re absolutely gorgeous in person with that gold zipper and deep Christmas tones. I just love them and the feather insert makes them perfect. I think having them around the table will make our Christmas breakfast that much more comfortable.
I also adore these plaid cereal bowls and gold flatware – the bowls are perfect for this time of year and we can use the flatware all year round!
All of the decor you see on the table was purchased from Walmart as well: from the striking, wooden church, Christmas trees and yummy fir candles.
And how cute are these clay ornaments from Walmart’s seasonal decor section?? I’m going to leave them on the kids’ plates so they can color the back with markers and they’ll be our 2020 keepsake ornaments.
Lastly, I wanted to point out the classic dinnerware pieces like the Pioneer Woman gravy bowl/butter dish set and coffee mugs. These tie right in with the tradition we’re starting with this breakfast because I know we’ll use them year after year.
Are you starting any traditions this year? I’m so grateful to Walmart for helping me create this one and I hope you’ll visit them soon (online or in person) so they can help you create a homemade holiday! Merry Christmas, Lovelies and as always, thanks for stopping by!
