It’s smoothie time! Often, I’m surprised by what you guys are interested in and one of those things has definitely been my smoothie recipe! I’ve been drinking them regularly for breakfast all year, sharing in my stories- and now they’re one of my kid’s favorite breakfast meals, too!
I concocted the very simple recipe and started making them to make sure I was getting a shot of brain foods in the morning (Kale, wild blueberries, chia seeds, etc.), and after I started WW this summer it was a perfect 0 point breakfast!
I did end up cutting the chia seeds because they add points, but sometimes I throw them in. You certainly can if you’d like -they’re a great source of nutrients and one of the top brain foods (if you’re curious what ‘brain foods’ are check this book out).
The best part about this smoothie is my kids beg for it and it’s great way to get greens and protein in them without any added sugar. It’s the perfect before-school breakfast or toddler nutrient boost!
I hope you love it!
