A funny little book about a woman who loves plants and decides to go on some adventures? When I read the book jacket I thought, “Sign me up!”. It turns out I made the right decision, but I got a lot more than I bargained for with Rules for Visiting by Jessica Francis Kane.
I cracked up laughing three times within the first 10 pages and continually wrote down poignant passages and quotes that really made me think. At times the story is a little sad, but it’s a smart and funny read which is a rare thing. Rules for Visiting is truly a spotlight on friendship, why it’s so important to our humanity and our story.
