Happy Memorial Day Weekend! I love this weekend. I think it’s so important to take the time to honor the bravest among us and celebrate their sacrifice by spending time with our families, enjoying all of the freedom those men and women provided for us. I was talking to my daughter about Memorial Day today, telling her why we celebrate this weekend and that her Daddy was a soldier, and she asked, “What are we going to do to celebrate the soldiers?”. Good question baby…
I found this list of simple things you can do as a family to put the meaning back in Memorial Day and I think just doing one or two of these can really make an impact on your kids. We’re definitely going to observe the National Moment of Remembrance and pray for our service members.
Memorial Day is also a greatttt time for scoring some deals. Does anyone else think these Memorial Sales are totally trumping Black Friday??
