Happy Friday, lovelies! Can you believe we’re less than 3 weeks away from Christmas?? Even when I start decorating and listening to Jingle Bell Rock early it still goes by way too fast.
I shared my first holiday home tour last week, but wanted to make sure I shared Part II with y’all because it’s where the extra comes in – tree trimmings and more twinkly lights, of course…
I had to add a couple more swags of eucalyptus garland as well. I love how these fit into our natural Christmas theme this year, but once I take the pinecones off I’ll be able to use them all year long.
We don’t always put a star on the tree, but my daughter is 4 this year and in her Christmas prime as I like to say, so there was no choice in the matter. She was excited for weeks to put the star on top of her tree and I was so giddy for her the night she finally got to do it.
We had a ton of fun decorating the tree this year and somehow I was the only one to break an ornament😉 The ornaments are mostly old favorites, but I did add the velour hearts from Roanoke Trading Company and the wooden snowflakes.
The garland is actually a mash-up of three different strands. My daughter and I strung the wooden garland at the top, the middle strand is from Michael’s and the bottom is a braided rope garland from Hobby Lobby.
This cedar and fir wreath gives me life, y’all. I grew up with a real tree so that fresh Christmas tree smell is so sacred to me, but we just don’t have room for one this year. To make up for it just a bit I hung four fresh wreaths from Trader Joe’s around our main living areas and I just love the aroma. I may or may not walk up and sniff them a dozen times a day.
We kept it simple this year with decorations mainly because we’re still smitten with our new furniture from Bassett. You can read more about that incredible experience here.
They’re hard to see in the sun, but I added some fun fairy lights to our new ledge in the dining room and of course, more eucalyptus garland.
