Do you have a space in your home that just screams, unfinished? I certainly did and for over a year this long, blank wall opposite our kitchen stumped me.
Thankfully (and quite luckily), a talented couple that builds custom furniture lives in my neighborhood. Clay & Amanda at Gambill Custom Woodwork craft incredible pieces that are 100% real wood and built to last. I’m so thankful we collaborated on this piece because it’s something that I’ll keep forever and it is the missing piece that has completed our home.
This space is directly opposite our kitchen, but is also open to our living room and dining room so it needs to be a transitional, adaptable area that can serve multiple functions. I love that I can use this cart as a bar for serving food and drinks while entertaining, extra storage, a coffee bar, or even just a display for some of our favorite pieces. The possibilities are truly endless. Also, you see those wheels right? Well, they’re not just for show so that means I can roll this baby wherever I want…like I said, endless possibilities.
Aren’t the details gorgeous? Amanda did gold hardware and an Antique White finish for me and I think her vision was perfect.
So that’s the new cart, isn’t she a beauty?? I’m so impressed with the craftsmanship and flexibility of the Gambills (I was able to choose my own dimensions, stain and hardware finish). If you take a look at their page you can see for yourself the amazing array of pieces they can make. I know for a fact that one or two of them will catch your eye!
Gambill Custom Woodwork will be taking new orders this summer for customers in the Northwest Arkansas area. Please check out their Facebook and Instagram pages (Clay & Amanda) and contact them there with questions and/or orders.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! xoxo
